    I've played BO and WaW on the PC. It is different and essentially is an upgraded re-skin of Modern Warfare 2.

    The killstreaks are the best balanced I've SEEN since Call of Duty 4, the gameplay is a lot more tatical and takes a lot more skill than Modern Warfare 2 did, mod tools will get released soon as they did WITH World at War AND CoD4 at a later date, and there's nothing perfect at launch anymore with games because they are always rushed for it now.

    Black Ops isn't -perfect- in terms of technical on the Xbox, there is matchmaking bugs etc but that doesn't bother me because in the end it's a good game and when it's fixed it'll be perfect, imo.

    haggis , whatever... i take it youve played Bo on pc? and waw on pc?, graphics might be diff on console, but on pc ? na.. not much.. considering the hoohaa of a new game , you would think they would at least try to beat the benchmark of cod4, on killstreaks ? ye they do,if you discount mods, on gameplay? no sadly lacking there,.. and at least hope to get things right for pc gamers on launch, nope we need to wait till a patch comes, they never learn do they?...
    shiteee , but .. we shall see if its a shelfer or a player...

    The Graphics are obviously not the same. It's the same of Modern Warfare 2 with a few upgrades that you MIGHT of found in World at War (such as more lighting effects, etc)

    They aren't the same as World at War Lol, that's so easy to notice. Even then, most Call of Duty's look the same either way as in the end it's built around THE SAME engine. It's not built off World at War, you don't have to be a genius to figure that out.

    this Game is built on the WAW engine with a tonne of modifications taken from MW2 (and possibly a few mods as well) xD its ok, the Lag kills it for me, campaign is Excellent, Zombies is like WAW it even has the same 4 dudes. and Multiplayer is Shite till they fix the optimisation issues (seems to be a the better the rig the worse the lag is effect)

    That's not Treyarch Max, that's Demonware.

    Black Ops is not built into the World at War engine either. It's built into Infinity Ward's improved Quake Engine and has more upgrades. The gameplay is nothing like World at War Lol, so stop with yo' jibba jabba. You are interperating it for World at War because it's an effect the mind creates.

    Also, it's obvious the PC version was going to be a flop at first. The Xbox version I can bet had the most dedication too it imo.

    went on our mw2 mod last night and heli seemed to work fine, remember it wont give it if another one is in sky,and u might move onto next killstreak?
    also went on alter iwnet, they now have a server search the same set up as cod4 in its main nenu..very nice..
    one thing i noticed about waw ,soz BO, treyarch have been very lazy, and will need to patch this game quickly, its obviously been built onto waw engine, it feels almost like a waw mod.. and has has the annoying feature of waw menu where you cant customise your display name too much, ie {BHC}Max is BHCMAX, danged annoying, but apart from being crap for admin, the game might be a hit if they fix everything properly..

    dont see the point tbh, whats it gonna give not alot unlike alteriw, console there even if a few commands are missing, dedis already there hopefully get better over time, mod tools to be released, hopefully get abit more optimized over next few patches. dont see much they can really do other than remove steam tbh.

    ye if your used to controls you could but pc is better cos of all the extras and its more open. btw hacker it might also be the game recorder from halo. its on constantly recording every match. not to mention the servers

    Black ops seems to have SEVERE issues with Multiplayer FPS LAG which seems be caused by Gameservers.com using Old CS:S servers as there "cutting edge" server Gear xD... well Jokes aside Black ops is marred by lag and it seems to be happening to everyone online.

    i went to the store this afternoon, there were a few left in eplaza store,
    i played a few missions its rather fun.
    good weapons, awsome maps,
    and at all....its creepy verry nice done smile6

    im getting both for crimbo. but from what ive seen on all the vids black ops is more for the cod player with better gameplay while MOH is kinda like BFBC2 its a tad more tactical but not AS tactical as bfbc2. it depends on your play style really. closer combat with more action youll want cod. tactics and all that MOH

    other than my crap frame rate its quite good, single player is quite well done, all im gonna say one long interrogation which tells the story. mp havent really managed to play due to framerate being shit

    First impressions? you would never guess it was done by same ppl who did waw...not....feals like a waw mod, but its early yet , still got 99 percent of gameplay to do..

    lol, just been trying to optimise my framerate so the best result i got was at 800 by 600 xD and that was max of 35 and low of 6
