    people say that but people would complain if they could play on a high setting on one mode but were forced to play in a lower setting in the other

    tbh id rather have lower graphics. ok sp maybe have it good but mp should be nice and smooth not a high tech film. but anyway cant say much yet its only been 2 days

    think abouts robots, people get freaked out when it looks reallly realistic, they make it out of shiny chrome with big blue eyes and a round head, and people go ooo wow, thats amazing.

    it makes sense, if something gets too realistic people won't like it, hence the graphics won't get much better.

    okay to finish this once and for all
    overall everyone has to remember developers can only go so far in terms of graphics and realism and i think weve almost hit the limit before we hit the uncanny valley (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uncanny_valley for explanation for those who dont know what it is). which is probably why you cant see too much of an improvement graphically in bo even with the technology that is available. and that consoles are almost at a standard that they can perform graphically at the same level as a pc. overall this sees more time going into gameplay, which has been the core fundamental of game since the beginning of games. /end of argument

    to be fair without pc BO would be pretty dull. they used stuff from many of our modders.

    fastfiles have been redone btw hacker. new algorythms and that. no ffviewer for a while maybe. guess they didnt like pc players getting gscs without them releasing.

    how they trying it again? yeah theres some limitations, but look at the features that were brought back that still aren't in console versions, mod tools, console, lean, dedis. alter ops while yeah it was a decent idea isn't as viable for bo as the advantages the alteriw had over mw2 is pretty much gone. jag while its all good saying these things until youve played the pc version yourself you cant really say much, yes max and quite afew people are complaining but that due to a huge memory leak which is causing performance issues which will hopefully be sorted out in a patch, ive got a worse pc than max and its seems like ive had a better experience so far, spesh even though he bluescreen and crashed a few times seems to be enjoying it

    ye just found that too sileter. i dont think they bothered to check this stuff. to busy concentrating on gameplay since console will play a game easily

    i think main problem is they dont like pc people remaking it. but the reason things like aiw came about is cos they tried to lower us to console standards. with blackops theyre trying it again so it will get ripped again. oh well black ops is a step in the right direction i suppose

    also jag its not anything to do with the graphics (it hardly uses a gpu) its a memory leak thats pretty bad and can ramp the usage fo even quad cores and some of the i series cpus to 100% usage

    Oh god no. i just saw an awful video which ill also link tommorow.

    in 2011 they are thinking of making mp subscription only BUT return to cod4 style. free dlc no steam etc. but whats gonna make more money. losing thousands of sales cos of subscription or mw2/bo style OR restore cod and regain thousands of customers. they dont get it. seems pc is now the bottom of their priority list. i feel sorry for xbox players. pay for xbox live and then pay more for mp. cod is lost. we shall follow the past. cod4

    WAW uses the same engine although hacker. If you look, Black Ops is listed under the IW_Engine which also World at War was on. It uses texture streaming which is why the map size increased greatly in World at War and MW2 and now this :P

    also some lag is everyone downloading steam and that.

    if the graphics bug story is true it might explain the tiny fps. or treyarch failed optimizing

    might need a new card then...

    just saw a thread on openwarfare forum with link to gameservers. apparently there is a graphical bug causing fps lag spikes and its not their servers. how true that is i dunno. cant post link but goto openwarfaremod.com and goto index, black ops,what a waste of money

    i have a 9400gt which is bit better than a 8600gt and its quite bad really low framerate about 26 max on 800x600 with everything set to low and fov at max

    Treyarch said it was built off WAW and ALL teh GSC files have COD WAW written in them xD so Haggis do some investigation first xD
