Nice 1 max - that's only just been released too! As for the mod tools - No radiant sux - and just as everyone suspected, they're weaseling out of issuing full tools!

I wanted to highlight here some of the things included in the package:

    Launcher.
    Asset Manager.
    EffectsEd.
    AssetViewer.
    Maya 2009 Exporter Plugins.
Reference materials: Maya src files, scripts, example mods, xmodel exports, texture assets.

The PC team is still investigating the potential release of Radiant. I'll be sure to update you when I know more.

its beta after 6 months working on it and it doesnt even include radiant... im not a mapper myself and i rarely play black ops but its still ridiculous

ahhh it's finally about to come then. i heard modding tools would be released in may but wasnt sure quite how they were gonna go about adding it. what should be interesting is how they handle servers. i know it'll be unranked servers only but will we be able to host unranked or what (fat chance of hosting our own)
