    well did a wee network usage test, and found some progs that don't "need" to be on net constantly, and stopped their services, trouble was there was about 6 of them, and hey presto, the packet drop has stopped, so far.. so I don't know which it was. lol.. still.. lol a new modem should arrive today .. test test test lol

    @Max . . Sorry to heat that m8. I had a shed load of problems with BT myself a few years ago, stayed clear of them ever since - nightmare to deal with . . I feel your pain m8

    okmive updated bios, realtek network drivers, new cables, new adsl filter, still cant play fps coz of packet drop/lagspikes,(ping is pretty constant), not only on cod games but happens in bf4 as well , bt have agreed to send me a new modem, but somehow im not so confident that this will fix it.

    Ye i would say first thing to try is redownload, I've never had that issue. If not enable the logfile and see if it leaves any errors towards the end.

    maybe delete that map from your usermaps folder, and re download freash from server?

    weird?
    playing on the MW4 server ok, but when map change to carentan game just crashes. tried logging in 5-6 times and same thing crashes on map loading screen. any ideas?

    Yeah I'm not bad thanks :) I've moved out, am studying for a degree and working as well so haven't gamed a huge amount recently ;p I'd need to reinstall the game on my pc, it's been ages xD How're you?

    Ahhh so it was packet loss then, hopefully shouldnt be too hard to fix.
