    Back up for now on a cheaper hosting package, Dedibox got scrapped because we simply cant get the players anymore. Bunch of us still hop on the server on the nights for a little while though when we can.

    I look at the homepage and its great! the clan was born from the rangers in the movie Black Hawk down okay!! They figth for a free world and we do it ! No chance for rassim and terror!!

    @Jag Yeah, I don't wan't the Max's server to get attacked or anything seriously destructive to happen, but as far as just cheaters go admins should be able keep tabs and ban them. Cheaters and Hackers are 2 different things to me. If taking off PB makes the serv vunerable for hackers to damage it seriously then keep PB, if it is just for cheaters, I think its worth considering.

    Ye the PB thing is an odd issue, it certainly isnt as much of an issue as it used to be but we still tend to see 1/2 kicks a day for actual gamehooks according to pb, not just the standard outdated PB message.

    Whether people are still interested in hacking such an outdated game, let alone the big download beforehand is another matter. There certainly arent as many PB kicks as there used to be, if it is still 1/2 a day then the admins can simply kick/ban the hackers while were online, it leaves the server unmonitored when were not online though.

    Admittedly, with the current state of COD4 the playing hours are quite specific anyway. Could be worth a try, the real trouble with disabling PB is its also reflected in the server list, that could draw in hackers that didnt bother before.

    @Max All good I think I finally got the PB situation taken care of so I should be on alot more. I think we should try and remove PB for a little while to test and see if hackers are going to be a problem. Its your call though. I think more players would join if it was off but IDK. What kind of damage can hackers do? like cheating aimbot ect or more harmful stuff like mess the server up?

    @Max Dopeness man. I'm a solid player, Mainly I play for fun and I'm not crazy competitive because im on my laptop right now and its not the best for gaming, but I just wanna help out, kick some ass and have a good time on a kick ass server.

    danke für die Antwort wünsche dir und famlie alles gute mach es gut junge war immer toll mit dir gezockt zu haben. weil ich schon sooo alt bin habe ich mit der familie kein problem aber mit der gesundheit. shooter und herzprobleme sind keine gute kombi. aber ich lass mir mein hobby nicht nehmen . habe an weihnachten auf der dosbox x mas wolfenstein gespielt orginal version 1988!!! immer wieder geil! da ich auch manchmal in anderen zonen zu hause bin in welcher bist du . nur grob keine gps daten wenn du willst oder mail siehe rangers page:-)

    @max it's usually fast, Idk the speed at the moment but yeah maybe my ISP is limiting my dl speed to much phub maybe , I applied to join btw I'm from Houston don't know if it matters but yeah... Since I dig the mw4 server, I wanna get it populated n make u some monayyyyy

    @En1gmas yes its a massive map, 170mb, but it is superb to play on clapppychappieeeee , also what is your download speeds, I get 600kbs and my net is poor, Ron used to get 5mbs so the downloads should be fast, maybe your being capped by your isp?

    @ Max ill give it another shot, maybe I did something wrong but I am still gettin booted. Is BO_town a big map becasue its giving me a 2 hr long DL IDK whats goin on.

    Herbi wenn ich zeit habe bzw. wenn ich online bin und der Server besucht ist werdet ihr mich wieder sehen. Es ist halt nicht einfach Beruf Familie und Hobby unter einem Hut zu bekommen. Ich hoffe jedenfall das der Server wieder besser besucht wird. letztes jahr gab es Zeiten da war immer was los und nun nicht mehr. Echt schade. es kommt noch dazu das wir in einer anderen Zeitzone sind so das erst später am Abend gezockt wird. Aber wie gesagt ich sehe ja wrnn jemand da ist. lasst es euch gut gehen

    just unzip the file, and replace the pb folder in your cod4, with the new one gunsmilieeeee
